Host school - School of Media，Yanching Institute of Technology
Yenching Institute of Technology is a full-time general undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor was the Beijing University of Chemical Technology North China College, an excellent independent college in China. In 2013, the Ministry of Education approved the renaming of the school as Yenching Institute of Technology. In 2016, it was selected as a construction unit for the master's degree awarding project in Hebei Province, and it is one of the first demonstration universities in Hebei Province for transformation and development. The school is located in Yanjiao National Economic and Technological Development Zone, Langfang City, Hebei Province, adjacent to Beijing's administrative sub-center and only 38 kilometers away from Tiananmen Square. It is a pilot demonstration zone for the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and the core area of the three major economic circles of the Capital Ring, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, and the Bohai Sea Ring.

Global Students Film Workshop is hosted by the School of Media at Yanjing Institute of Technology and takes place annually in June during the Chaobai River International Short Film Week. The workshop aims to create a platform for young filmmakers worldwide to engage in cross-cultural exchange and hands-on collaboration. Outstanding student filmmakers and their works are invited to China, where they will visit the School of Media at Yanjing Institute of Technology to exchange ideas and explore new possibilities in cinematic storytelling.
